Edwards Adds 16 Kills in QC Tri-Match Split

Sophomore Suzanne Byrne led the Queens College Lady Knights attack with 22 kills in a tri-match split with Georgian Court and Southern Connecticut State. The Knights lost to SCSU in four in the first match of the day but rebounded to sweep GCU in an afternoon match played in Fitzgerald Gymnasium on Saturday.

Senior Latoya Edward, from Castries, St Lucia, recorded 16 killsv in the two games, the third-best output for QC. The 5'4" outside hitter, an alumnus of Leon Hess Comprehensive, and an economics major, is also third in digs after two games with 11.
