UNCG shoots well, but loses


GREENSBORO, N.C. – Despite shooting 56 percent from the floor for the game, 29 turnovers wound up being the demise of the University of North Carolina Greensboro men's basketball team, as the Spartans fell to No. 22 Virginia Tech, 92-70, Sunday afternoon at the Greensboro Coliseum.

The Spartans (0-3) were led by sophomore Kyle Randall, who had 15 points, and freshman Aloysius Henry, who posted 14 points on 7 of 8 shooting from the field. The 6'10" St Lucia-born centre also had four turnovers and four fouls, missed all four of his free throws, and had just one rebound.
